Trae serves as the Head Auctioneer and President of Willis and Company Auctions, Inc. With over 30 years of experience in the auction industry, Trae is a former Virginia State Champion Auctioneer and has been a finalist in the World Automobile Auctioneer Championships six times. He specializes in automobile auctions and has extensive experience in estate sales, personal property sales, and equipment auctions.
In addition to his leadership at Willis and Company Auctions, Trae is actively involved in the auction industry, conducting daily sales for Fortune 500 companies at various auctions across the eastern United States. His goal is to bring buyers and sellers together in a way that ensures satisfaction for both parties.
A native of the Star City, where he currently resides with his wife, Shanan, Trae brings a wealth of industry expertise to his work. Together, Trae and Shanan have a combined 50 years of experience in the auction field and are dedicated to assisting clients in finding real estate solutions that meet their unique needs.

Shanan Willis is General Manager of Willis & Company Auctions, Inc., alongside her husband, Trae. With over 20 years of experience in the auction industry, Shanan is dedicated to assisting clients through every step of the auction process for selling estates, real estate, commercial properties, equipment, and personal property.
As a licensed real estate agent for 10 years, she brings a wealth of knowledge to every auction, ensuring that each sale is handled with professionalism and care.
Before diving into auctions, Shanan spent 10 years as a licensed property and casualty insurance agent, which gives her a well-rounded perspective on the value of assets and risk management. That experience allows her the ability to offer you the best solutions in every situation.

Tanner is an auctioneer and senior sales consultant at Willis & Company, bringing dedication and experience to every client he serves. He lives in Palmyra, Virginia, just outside of Charlottesville, with his wife.
A graduate of the World Wide College of Auctioneering (Class of 2021), he has been actively involved in the auction industry since his college years.
When he’s not assisting clients, Tanner enjoys spending time with his wife and their dogs, hitting the golf course, and connecting with friends. He places a high value on relationships and meaningful connections—and is ready to help you find the perfect new owner for your home.

Marketing, media, and technology director
Kendall serves as the Marketing, Media, and Technology Director for Willis & Company Auctions, where she combines creativity, precision, and strategy to elevate the company’s brand and digital presence.
With a background in court stenography, she brings a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for accuracy to every project. Prior to joining the auction industry, she spent five years as the Media and Marketing Director for a local church, where she led creative initiatives and developed impactful communications that fostered community engagement.
Outside of work, she enjoys life with her husband and two children on their small farm, where they care for a variety of animals. In her free time, she loves spending quality time with her family, animals, and staying active outdoors. Her dedication to excellence, paired with a genuine passion for storytelling and technology, makes her an integral part of the team.
